How To Apply

Who Is Eligible?

Each application is considered on an individual basis. We never discriminate against any adult who is in need of housing. There are a few basic requirements that applicants need to have.

Who Can Refer To Us?

Applicants can be referred from a range of sectors and organisations across the boroughs where we provide housing options. This including Local Authorities, Hospitals, Drug and Alcohol Services, Charities, Faith Institutions, Statutory Agencies and the like. Applicants can also refer themselves under the “self-referral” option. In the supported housing scheme, it is also possible for applicants to be referred directly to Support Providers. They will be required to complete Ash-Shahada’s documentation including the application form.

The Process

If you are looking to apply, either for yourself or on behalf of someone else, then an application form must be completed. Applicants for supported housing are required to have a completed risk assessment & necessary documentation (where possible). A referral assessment will take place to ensure applicants referred meet the eligibility for accommodation.
